Encounter Among the Natives |
|
Sunday, 14 September 2008 |
Haskell University is the nation’s only fully accredited Native
American college. It was the site of Student CPX this summer, a
student church planting training that was bathed in 24-7 prayer.
Throughout the two weeks of the training, it became obvious to students
and leaders alike that God very much desires to do a work at Haskell
University! One Campus America team member shares her story of how God
dramatically encountered them in the place of prayer and how He is
establishing His presence on campus in a permanent way. Read more for the rest of the story...

We recently sent out a message to students who are contending for the fullness of God's presence in our generation, asking them to share how God is showing up on their campuses. We also asked students to share what God has been stirring in their hearts for this coming semester and the dreams He is giving them for their fellow students. What exciting responses we received!! See what just a few of them have to say by reading more...

Baltimore’s Historically Black Colleges & Universities Praying 24-7 |
|
Friday, 20 June 2008 |
At Morgan State University, 24-7 prayer is changing the lives of students throughout the campus. As students have interceded with God on their knees in the muddy grass through late night storms and have spent hours and hours with Him inside the prayer tent placed on the middle of campus, God is honoring their persistence and answering their prayers in incredible ways.

Campus Georgia Prays 52 Days |
|
Friday, 20 June 2008 |
HOW BIG IS OUR GOD?! It seems ridiculous now that 7 months ago we
questioned, “Could God be raising up 24-7 prayer rooms all over
Georgia?” In hindsight, it is obvious that He was thinking just that,
and is continuing to exceed our expectations! When the first email
was sent out suggesting that campuses all over the state join arms and
“build” prayer rooms on the campuses of Georgia, the responses came
back that this idea was already in many hearts and already being done
on some campuses. God had stirred the desire for night and day prayer
and unity across campus ministries!

Hearing God in East Texas and Responding in Prayer |
|
Friday, 20 June 2008 |
“ It takes courage to do what you have never seen done, but what else are you going to do when you have heard from God? John Flores had never heard of “a prayer room” but he did hear God outside of the Jacksonville College cafeteria and in his own words, “No one can take credit for what is happening, this is God. None of us dare to own what has happened, this is the move of God...”
“I want to follow God wherever He is working. If God is not before me, I'm not going anywhere.”

Jesus our First Love: The U.S. Transit Class of 2008 |
|
Wednesday, 18 June 2008 |
When responding to enquirers this year about just what Transit is, Salem Settlemeyer always began by stating, " Transit is not a program. It's an experience."
As much as the rest of us Transites grew prophetic in predicting this
reply from his mouth, often meeting eyes across the room either in jest
or eye-rolling, we have come to the end of our journey together, and
the truth is, he was (mostly) right.
