Transit Tulsa is about community, discipleship, and mission. It is a community centered on Jesus and focused on prayer and outreach; intimacy and involvement.  In addition to pilgrimages and other special events, we will practice consistent rhythms of prayer, study, work, and outreach.  We will eat together, pray together, serve together, sweat together, study together, and grow together.

We are not a community simply for the sake of community.  We are not about serving the poor because it’s hip.  We are seriously committed to following Jesus, whatever that might mean.  We are not about an easy, American dream kind of Christianity.  We are not about playing it safe, being comfortable, or maintaining control.  We endeavor to practice and to pass on a risky, sacrificial, and submissive way of life in Christ.

Jesus said it like this:

"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.  For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." – Luke 9:23-24.

We believe that in forming redemptive communities in forgotten and sometimes dark places, we will see the glory of God.  When we lay our lives down for Jesus, we will discover a beautiful new way of living.  Transit Tulsa is an opportunity to intentionally pursue this way of life for a nine month period, and to do so in fellowship with other hungry disciples and with the guidance of passionate and mature mentors.  If this is something that stirs your heart, you can get more information at www.transittulsa.com, or by contacting us at
