| Baltimore’s Historically Black Colleges & Universities Praying 24-7 |
| Friday, 20 June 2008 | |
At Morgan State University, 24-7 prayer is changing the lives of students throughout the campus. As students have interceded with God on their knees in the muddy grass through late night storms and have spent hours and hours with Him inside the prayer tent placed on the middle of campus, God is honoring their persistence and answering their prayers in incredible ways. Morgan State University is the first historically black college to participate in a week of 24-7 prayer and they have placed the tent in the center of their campus. Check out the day-to-day testimonies of their week of prayer on YouTube! Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Day 4 Day 5 Day 6 Day 7 On the news In response to what has occurred and is occurring at Morgan State and in Baltimore, students have started a group they are calling 24-7Outbound with the vision of taking 24-7 prayer and their encounters with God everywhere they go this summer. Check out their Facebook group (24-7 Outbound) and join in on the mission! Don Campbell, a spiritual father to dozens of students throughout Baltimore’s historically black colleges and universities said this about their recent week of prayer at Morgan State University “The level of stewardship for that prayer tent, I have not seen in all of my years of ministry – I am not overstating this. The level of stewardship is nothing but the expression of the heart of God for his own place, his own holy place.” |
