WHAT'S HOT - Round Table approves Rule

2005's 24-7 Round Table in Hernutt, Germany has approved the Boiler Room Rule and Customary.

In Barcelona 2004, a team was charged with clarifying what a Boiler Room is and how they can be commissioned and supported.

The document is a culmination of a year's work and sets out 2 purposes, 3 principles and then 6 practices of a Boiler Room. Click here to find out more.

From now, the Boiler team will work on helping exisiting Boiler Room's to live out the rule, supporting developing Boiler Rooms and 24-7 communities and then clarifying the details of how the processes in the paper will work.

Emerging Boiler Room in Kansas City, MO...boiler_room_on_2nd_floor.jpg

A growing group of young adults in Kansas City are exploring what it means for them to be a Boiler Room community. In September, they leased the 2nd floor of the building you see pictured to the right, and they're actively figuring out how to express the Kingdom of God through a rhythm of prayer, mission, justice, arts & creativity, hospitality, and training.

This community deeply loves the arts & creativity, and Linnea Spransy - a gifted visual artist by passion and profession - has recently moved to Kansas City to invest herself in the community. Linnea's art studio is located at the Boiler Room, and you can check out her artwork at http://www.linneagabriella.com.

One of the ways this Boiler Room seeks to live out intentional discipleship training is through 24-7 Tmaking_covenant_to_god__each_other.jpgransit, based in Kansas City, which you can read more about here. Transit students are a part of the greater Kansas City Boiler Room community.
