Why Stories?
He planted a witness in Jacob, set His Word firmly in Israel, then commanded our parents to teach it to their children, so the next generation would know and all the generations to come—know the truth and tell the stories so their children can trust in God, never forget the works of God, but keep His commands to the letter.
Psalm 78:5-8 (The Message)
For generations upon generations, stories of God’s faithfulness and great works have been told, retold, remembered and handed down. This is an essential way to recall who God is and remind ourselves that He is worthy of all our trust. As students across this nation pray in extraordinary ways, it is of utmost importance that we follow in the footsteps of our forefathers and tell our own stories of God’s activity in our communities. We are sure to be encouraged and spurred on by one another as we do, and perhaps these stories will be written in the books of history.
Read the Stories that others have submitted. This is a place where you can Tell Your Story, as well. Some of these will be chosen as “Featured Stories" and others will be posted to a particular campus’s Wiki page or shared on the Facebook Fan Page. If you prefer to share your story by e-mail or phone, please contact our team of writers to do so.
